What this means
MDOT publishes a rolling 5-year program listing every project over a threshold (typically $5M+). It’s the cleanest indicator of what corridors will be torn up and when, plus what new capacity is coming online.
What you can do
- For commuters in a project’s corridor: subscribe to that project’s email alerts at michigan.gov/mdot.
- For contractors: the 5-year plan tells you what RFPs to expect over the next 18 months.
